The cassette welder is a single-purpose machine. It is used to weld a plastic lid with a cassette where solutions for blood analyser are placed. The machine is designed as a semiautomatic permanently manned machine.
The operator places the cassette with a plastic holder of gasket into a fixture. The complete cassette in the fixture is subsequently placed in the working area of the machine where the lid of the cassette is set to the correct position and welded to the cassette. Having been welded, the cassette is automatically slid out from the fixture and will leave the working area independently. The fixture returns back automatically to process next cassettes.
