The device is designed for serial production of disposable medical aids. As far as the technology is concerned, it is an automated station to weld two plastic parts by means of induction heating.
The welding unit is placed on a precise linear guidance system with a pneumatic drive on the front side of the cabinet and its initial position is up. Having the parts been placed into the station and having the operator depressed the push-button START in order to confirm the operation, the induction heating unit will get over the place of welding and will carry out the welding process automatically. Having the working cycle been finished, the welding unit will get upwards and a finished assembly can be removed from the station.
