The equipment is used in the health service, specifically to shape stents used for
urological purposes. “Pigtail”-type stents are placed on trays and manually loaded
into the machine. The trays are heat-treated by warming up and by subsequent
cooling down by means of the six-axis robot. The trays are dispatched by means of
the cooling tunnel and they are then manually removed.
